What a twist!

Gary Sinise, did a very good job at directing the movie of the American novel Of Mice and Men.  George and Lennie, two friends who were travelling together for work during the depression were expressed identically from the novel to the movie.  George’s character was exactly how I pictured him to be: caring, cautious and protective. George cares about his friend, Lennie so much that before Aunt Clara died he promised her he would take care of her nephew Lennie.  George is cautious and protective of Lennie in both the film and the novel when they talk with the boss to see if they received the job.  The ending of the film was different than the novel. In the novel they use action and description to impress the reader whereas in the film it uses suspense for the ending to be more dramatic for the viewers.
